Hello! My name is Garland Hull, I’m a digital Illustrator and Designer from Baltimore, Maryland.
Education
I have a bachelor’s degree in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art, having graduated in Spring 2023. I specialize in stylized 2D illustrations, graphic design, and bright colors! During my time at MICA, I took classes on Sequential Art, Animation, Concept Art, Editorial Illustration, Graphic Design, Adobe, Color Theory, and many more.
Passions
Some of my biggest illustration inspirations come from western cartoons, video games and picture books for children.
Outside of work for my career, I like designing CDs for bands that I like! I also like to collect Vinyl, CDs, and play guitar!
Clients and Experience
While mainly focusing on finding clients locally in Maryland, I have done Design and Illustration work for companies all across the United States. Even though I am new to the industry, I am passionate and eager to continue expanding my Client list.
As of April, 2024, I am working for Lion Brothers, a company owned by Avery Dennison, as a Designer.
